Hello, I’m Sean.

I’m an integrative psychotherapist and counsellor based in South East Kent, offering both in-person and online sessions.

I’ve been working therapeutically for close to a decade now. My experience includes eight years in therapeutic children’s homes and over six years in private practice. Over that time, I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide range of people—children, young people, and adults—each with their own story, challenges, and strengths.

My training originally began in psychodynamic therapy, CBT, and person-centred approaches, and has continued to grow over the years. I’ve gone on to explore additional ways of working, including Internal Family Systems (IFS) and existential approaches, alongside more focused work around things like shame and guilt. I’m also connected with a number of professional communities and contribute as a lead reviewer within therapeutic networks.

I tend to work with people aged 11 and above, and if I ever feel I’m not the right fit for you, I’ll always do my best to help you find someone who is.

Sometimes life can feel heavier than it should. You might feel stuck, overwhelmed, or caught in patterns that are hard to shift. It could be anxiety that won’t quieten, past experiences that keep showing up in the present, or a general sense of not quite feeling like yourself anymore.

Whatever brings you here, you don’t have to figure it out on your own.

I offer a calm, confidential space where you can talk openly, without judgment. My approach is relational, attachment-focused, and trauma-informed. In simple terms, that means we won’t just look at what’s going on, but also try to understand why it makes sense that you feel the way you do. Together, we can begin to make sense of things at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you.

Some people come looking for support with anxiety or low mood, others to work through past experiences, burnout, or relationship difficulties. Some aren’t quite sure what they need yet—just that something doesn’t feel right. All of that is welcome here.

If you’re thinking about starting therapy, I offer a free 20-minute pre-therapy check-in. It’s a chance for us to meet, have a chat, and see how it feels to talk together. There’s no pressure—just an opportunity to ask questions and get a sense of whether this feels like the right space for you.

If you’d like to get in touch, email is usually the best way to reach me. I’ll always come back to you at a time when I can give your message the attention it deserves.

At the heart of my work is a simple belief: connection heals, consistency steadies, and curiosity creates space for change. My role is to support you in finding your footing again, in a way that feels meaningful and lasting—not just getting through, but moving forward.
