Welcome

I am an integrative psychotherapist and counsellor working in South East Kent, with an office in Folkestone. Offering support both online and face-to-face. My work includes individual therapy sessions, specialist training, organisational audits, and holistic care needs assessments for children and young people. Online counselling is offered via a secure platform, Microsoft Teams. Online therapy has expanded access to support, allowing people to engage in meaningful therapeutic work from wherever they feel most comfortable.

If you feel more comfortable starting therapy in an online session before having face-to-face sessions, that can be arranged.

I have worked within therapeutic communities and social care environments, supporting individuals from a wide range of backgrounds and life experiences since 2018. A significant part of this work has involved the impacts of trauma, attachment, and those learning about how neurodiversity can impact our lives. Along with a number of amazing years working directly alongside children and young people on their therapy journey.

Therapy sessions are available for young people aged 11 and above, as well as adults, providing a safe and supportive space to explore emotional well-being, personal challenges, and life experiences. Choosing to begin therapy can bring up a range of emotions. Each person arrives with their own story, experiences and strengths. My aim is to provide a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space where you feel able to explore whatever you may be facing at your own pace.

Alongside therapeutic work, I also support organisations through training and service reviews, and I carry out specialist assessments for children and young people to help identify additional care needs and inform supportive approaches within home, school, and wider care environments.

I believe that meaningful therapy begins with a safe, trusting relationship, allowing people to explore their experiences and move towards lasting healing, growth and development.

Alongside my counselling practice, I also contribute to the wider therapeutic field as a Lead Reviewer for the Community of Communities, a quality improvement network facilitated by the Royal College of Psychiatrists. This work involves supporting the development and evaluation of therapeutic environments that aim to maintain high standards of safe and ethical practice.

My practice has developed a particular focus and experience in supporting people with:

Trauma

I work with individuals who have experienced trauma, adverse life experiences, or complex emotional histories. Trauma can shape how we relate to ourselves, others and the world around us. Therapy can provide a safe space to explore these experiences and develop new ways of understanding and responding to them.

Neurodiversity

I have significant experience supporting individuals who are neurodivergent, including those with Autism and ADHD. My approach recognises neurodiversity as a natural variation
